Preparing for your appointment
What documents should I bring?
For your appointment, please bring, if you have them:
- Your sleep test report.
- Documents about treatments you have already tried.
For an oral appliance assessment, please also bring:
- The letter from your doctor recommending oral appliance therapy.
- Reports of previous dental assessments and panoramic X-rays taken elsewhere, if you have them.
How can I find out about fees and terms?
The Arava office or the oral appliance team will tell you the fees and terms before your consultation is confirmed or before you commit to treatment.
Can private insurance contribute to the cost?
Some private insurers may contribute to the cost of a mandibular advancement device. This depends on your policy and your insurer’s terms. Check your cover and any required steps with your insurer before starting treatment.
How do I confirm or change my appointment?
After you get in touch, the Arava office or the oral appliance team will confirm the day, time and place of your appointment. To reschedule or cancel, contact the same team again.
